Poorna - South Indian Actress

Shamna Kasim also known by the stagename Poorna is a South Indian film actress and model. She started her career as a classical dancer and got into media when she was participating at the reality-based dance competition Super Dancer on Amrita TV. She made her acting debut in the 2004 Malayalam film Manju Poloru Penkutty and went on to play minor supporting roles in a couple of unsuccessful films. She was called as looking like Asin Thottumkal by Vijay and her fans call her 'Junior' Asin. She played her first major role in her debut Telugu film Sri Mahalakshmi, while essaying the lead female character in her first Tamil film, Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu.

Bhavana - South Indian Actress

Karthika Menon, better known by her stage name Bhavana, is an Indian film actress from Thrissur, Kerala, who works in the South Indian film industry. She made her acting debut in Kamal's Nammal (2002), which won her critical acclaim and various honors. In a career spanning over a decade, she has appeared in over sixty films and won two Kerala State Film Awards.

Bhavana was born Karthika Menon in Nellangara, Thrissur, Kerala, the daughter of Pushpa and assistant cinematographer, G.Balachandra Menon. She has one brother, Jayadev, who currently lives in Vancouver, Canada.She studied at Holy Family Girls' High School, Chembukkavu, near Kerala state zoo Thrissur. Bhavana, who describes herself as a restless and a confused person and someone who's "hard to handle", states that she had grown up with a dream to become an actress.She recalls that, as a five-year-old, she used to imitate actress Amala's scenes from the Malayalam film Ente Sooryaputhrikku in front of the mirror and was even willing to jump from a building and break her arm, like Amala's character did in the film.

She is the brand ambassador along with actress Mamta Mohandas for team Kerala Strikers for the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), captained by Mohanlal, who is also one of the owners of the team, and vice-captain Indrajith.

At age 16,she debuted in the Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers Siddharth, Jishnu,and Renuka Menon. The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She won many honors and a Kerala State Special Jury Award for the film. Bhavana was an 11th standard student when she got her break in films. She has acted with almost all actors in Malayalam cinema. She has got many offers lined up in Tamil and did many projects with famous Tamil actors like Ajith Kumar, Madhavan, Jayam Ravi, Bharath, Jiiva and Srikanth.

She has been doing glamorous roles since 2008.In 2010, she starred in her first Kannada film alongside Puneeth Rajkumar acted in Jackie which was a blockbuster. Following the film's huge success, the film was dubbed into Telugu and Malayalam. Bhavana was said to star with Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming Bollywood film.Her second Kannada film Only Vishnuvardhana with Sudeep opened to a big response.In 2012, Bhavana appeared in the Malayalam films Ozhimuri and Honey bee.

Honey rose - South Indian Actress

Honey Rose is an Indian film actress, who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. She has also appeared in a few Tamil and Telugu films.Starting her career in 2005, she acted in the Malayalam film Boyy Friennd directed by Vinayan.She played the role of Manikuttan's friend . In 2006, she accepted her first non-Malayalam project, Ee Varsham Sakshiga in Telugu, which was followed by her first Tamil film the romantic drama Mudhal Kanave. Honey Rose acted in Muthyala Subbiah’s 50th film Aalayam. The most popular character of Honey Rose (Dhwani) is that of 'Dhwani Nambiar' in Trivandrum Lodge. Her character in Trivandrum Lodge, had given her a new innings in Mollywood.She decided to change her screen name to Dhwani too after her character in Trivandrum Lodge,but she reverted to Honey Rose in Anju Sundarikal.

In 2011 she had completed one Tamil project, Mallukattu which she signed in 2009 and a Malayalam film, Pithavinum Puthranum Parishudhatmavinum, but the latter is on hold. She plays a nun called Sister Elsita in director Deepesh’s Pithavinum Puthranum Parisudhalmavinum. She also acted with Jayasurya in Hotel California and in Thank You as Jayasurya's wife, with Fahadh in the Anchu Sundharikal featurette called Aami and Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus with Mammootty in which she has a very challenging role as she plays a bold and strong Malayali woman.

Manju warrier - South Indian Actress

Manju Warrier is an Indian film actress known for her work in Malayalam cinema. Manju made her debut in Sakshyam (1995). Her films include Sallapam, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu, Thooval Kottaram (1996), Kaliyattam, Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu (1997), Daya, Summer in Bethlehem (1998), and Pathram (1999). She won 4 Filmfare Awards South for Malayalam best actress. She won the National Film Award - Special Jury Award for her performance in Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu (1999). She got married to actor Dileep in 1998, and quit acting at that time. She is often regarded as the most successful actress in Malayalam cinema alongside Shobana and Urvashi.

Manju warrier was born in Nagercoil in the year 1978. Her father Madhavan Warrier was working with Sundaram Finance, Nagercoil regional office. She did her primary schooling in CSI Lower Primary School, Nagercoil.

Even when she was at school, Manju showed extra ordinary talent in dance, and won many awards. She was conferred Kalathilakam in Kerala Youth Festival for 2 years.
At the age of 17, she debut in the film Sakshyam (1995).Later at the age of 18, she acted in the movie Sallapam (1996), co-starring actor Dileep, whom she later married. Since then, she acted in around 20 Malayalam movies over a span of three years. She has won numerous awards.

Her performance in the movie Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu won a special mention from the jury for National Film Awards. Her other films include Kanmadam and Aaraam Thampuran, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu and Kudamattam with her husband Dileep, Summer In Bethlahem, Pranayavarnangal, Pathram and Kaliyattam, Irattakuttikalude Achan, Kaliveedu, Thooval Kottaram and Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu.
She married actor Dileep. After her marriage with Dileep, she retired from the film industry.

In 2011, she appeared in the promotion event for the movie Gaddama alongside Samyuktha Varma. In 2012 October 24, she performed Kuchipudi in Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. Later in July 2013, she acted in a commercial with Amitabh Bachchan. Her comeback announcement was greeted with much fanfare by fans and the media.In a subsequent interview, Manju Warrier thanked her fans for welcoming her back to the industry and described the opportunity to work with Mr. Bachchan as one of the most memorable experiences of her life.She is coming back to the Malayalam film industry after a long break of 14 years through Ranjiths untitle project alongside with Mohanlal, the shooting is to be started on November 2013.
Manju Warrier was recently the cynosure of attention as she received the book penned by her friend and actress Navya Nair. Navya has written Navayarasangal and the first copy was received by Manju Warrier from the hands of veteran poet and activist Sugathakumari.Manju Warrier mesmerised the audience in Calicut when she presented a Kuchipudi recital as part of the tribute ceremony of late Mullasseri Raju. She recently published her book Sallapam.
